Operations Trainer

Clear Sky Recruitment are pleased to be working with an established business based in Chester. On their behalf we are searching for an experienced Operations Trainer to work on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
The Operations Trainer will have a passion for training and be a constant role model for the companies values, giving every customer (internal and external) a ‘World Class Customer. You will be responsible for the following areas:
• Identify training and development needs through Training Needs Analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with line managers
• Design and expand training and development programmes based on the needs of the organisation and the individual
• Work in a team to produce training programmes that are satisfactory to all relevant parties
• Plan and assess the 'return on investment' of any training or development programme
• Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers
• Produce training materials for in-house courses
• Create and/or deliver a range of training using classroom, online and blended learning
• Amend and revise programmes as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment
• Help line managers and trainers solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups
• Develop and implement a training and skills matrix across all Operations and Commercial functions
• Delivery of operational training across the Contact Centre and Commercial Owner teams via workshops and induction courses
• Conducting follow up development discussions with line managers, coaching and feedback as required
• Ensuring all training records and systems are updated accurately and well maintained
• Designing and producing training materials for Workshops, Technical and Soft Skills training sessions as part of a continuous improvement process i.e. sales, conflict management, negotiation, emotional intelligence etc
• Working with regional offices across the UK to conduct training as part of their on boarding process and continuous development

Essential Experience:

- A passion for the training and development of others
- Proven track record of meeting objectives
- Self motivated with the ability to work on own initiative and prioritise own workload
- Successful track record of writing and delivering a wide range of training, including technical, system and soft skills
- Experience of coaching & developing others
- Experience in the design of training courses, materials and workbooks
- Development of structured and effective evaluation of
group training
- Experience delivering remote and in person training
- Intermediate level in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Desirable Experience:
- Experience of working with an E-learning system is a benefit but not essential
Please note: Whilst Hybrid-working is available across our department, due to the nature of the current position, applicants must be available to commute to our Chester head office when required. A mix of working from home and remote working is available pending a discussion
